Highcliffe Castle

The Grade 1 listed building enjoys a cliff top location on the Dorset coast and was built between 1831 and 1835 and incorporates decorative Medieval stonework salvaged from buildings in Normandy, France.
It’s most notable resident was probably Harry Gordon Selfridge the American-born retail entrepreneur who lived there from 1916 till 1922.
The Castle and grounds are normally open to the public and can be hired as a wedding venue.
